Suggestions for Hike this Sunday

In celebration of the rebranding from Hikes for Hackers to TechTreks, there will be a hike this Sunday (July 27th). Reply to @techtreks or leave a comment here with your suggestion for a good place to hike. See you on the trails,

    Hey Ryan-

    I’ve got two suggestions:

    1) Something in Gregory Canyon ( http://www.bouldercolorado.gov/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=3012&Itemid=1035 )

    2) Bear Peak - You know you want to! It’s not completely covered in detail on this map, but you can see which trails to take. Look for hike “J”. (Towhee/Homestead to Shadow Canyon)

    You would probably need to catch a ride to #2, ’cause it’s a ways out of town to bike and then hike a tough trail like that. But the view from the top is soooo worth it!

    BTW - If we do one of these, it would really cool if we could leave at 10 rather than 11.

    In fact, I’d like to suggest that as a general change. Hiking in the middle of the day during summer is just a tad on the warm side for me. :-)
